REVIEW
Chiggers by Hope Larson

You might remember Stacy Dillon from past years on the Cybils, but you also might be familiar with her blog, Welcome to My Tweendom, where she posts about books for kids and young adults, or Booktopia, where she recommends all sorts of books. This year, she's on the judging panel for the Graphic Novels category.

ChiggersOne of Stacy's reviews on Welcome to My Tweendom featured Hope Larson's Chiggers, a finalist in the Graphic Novels category that's aimed at a YA audience.
If you like camp stories, this one is sure to be a hit. Even though protagonist Abby is at the same summer camp as last year, everything's changed–including her friends. In her review, Stacy says:

Hope Larson has penned a graphic novel that rings so true on themes of frienship, identity, first crushes, summertime freedom and the idea of loyalty. The black and white artwork perfectly compliments the story, and readers will be falling in love with Abby before they know it!
