Liz Burns, formal Cybil-ite and School Library Journal blogger at A Chair, a Fireplace, and a Tea Cozy, gave the Cybils an awesome plug in her official SLJ overview of the Kidlitosphere Conference in Minneapolis this past weekend.
KidLitCon 2010 was a blast--I can vouch for that personally--and Liz and I both participated in a panel on Cybils and the Kidlitosphere along with Pam "MotherReader" Coughlan (our Fiction Picture Books organizer) and Jen "Jen's Book Page" Robinson (our Literacy Evangelist).
About 100 people attended the conference, including a number of Cybils panelists past and present, and it was fantastic to meet people in person. Hopefully we'll all get to meet again (or, in some cases, for the first time) at next year's Kidlitcon in Seattle!

I have had a busy week, and haven't seen Kidlitcon wrap ups, so this is the first I'd heard about next year's location.
LOVE Seattle, so I'll be keeping that in mind.
I really REALLY wanted to go this year, and even priced airfare, but for a bunch of reasons, it didn't work out.

I have my fingers crossed that I'll be able to go next year, too! I love visiting Seattle. :)
