Melissa Wiley of Here in the Bonny Glen is amazing for so many reasons. She's been blogging since 2005, she's a homeschooling mother of a surprisingly large number of adorable children, she's a children's author in her own right, and she's the one who holds the honor of having coined the term "kidlitosphere." And she's a lovely person. No wonder we adore her here at Cybils!
This past fall, Melissa reviewed Cybils Young Adult Fiction nominee Bamboo People by Mitali Perkins, a story of growing up amid the ethnic strife in present-day Burma. About the book's two main characters, Melissa says:
These boys are in an ugly situation and both fervently want to do the right thing, but in these horrific circumstances the "right thing" isn’t always easy to define.

Gosh, thanks for that incredibly nice intro!
(And for the kind words from Mystery Commenter above.) ;)

How on earth do you manage to find the time for all these reviews. I had half the energy you seem to possess, I would probably be loaded by now - and that's without children.
Keep up the good work
