Thanks for sharing. I also think it's important to show diversity by including Jewish characters in YA and children's books. (Can you recommend a blog or list to check out?) I read that the author of The Inquisitor's Apprentice, Chris Moriarty, wrote the book for her son out of frustration from not having Jewish heroes to read about. (From her website: http://www.inquisitorsapprentice.com ) Nice! I think I have to read the book now!
