Congratulations to the short listers. I'm sure all of us who didn't make the cut would love to know why. We also understand it's not possible to tell each writer why they didn't. Well, it is actually possible, but far too time-consuming. That's the way things work in the world. I accept it, but still sigh and wonder why.
