Here at the Cybils, we love RIF! They put books into the hands of children who need them, and encourage the spread of literacy and love of reading. In fact, the Cybils and RIF go way back:
- RIF's CEO Carol Rasco, AKA Rasco from RIF, has been a Cybils judge.
- Cybils panelists were encouraged this year to donate review copies to RIF, and
- Cybils Overlord Anne Levy met Carol Rasco in 2010 to help promote their annual campaign with Macy's (see picture!)
Once again, Macy's is teaming up with RIF to help raise money for the cause, and that's good news for you. Because if you donate $3 at any Macy's between now and July 31 to help RIF buy a book for a child, you'll get a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50. How great is that? Give $3, get $10, and give a child a book! The goal this year is to give 1 million books to kids!
