Our featured blog review for today is Easy Reader finalist A Pig, a Fox, and a Box by Jonathan Fenske, reviewed by Round 2 judge Emily Andrus. When she reviewed A Pig, a Fox, and a Box a few months ago, she definitely thought it was a hoot:
“I laughed so hard when I read this book….The title and rhyming scheme of the book makes it vaguely Dr.-Seuss-esque. Which is great for beginning readers–the vocabulary is simple and the rhymes help with a reader’s phonetic awareness.”
