I’m a children’s writer and poet. While I don’t often share my original poetry on my blog, Writing and Ruminating, I regularly post poems and poetry-related information there. I have a poem called "Lawnmowers" published in the Summer Shorts anthology from Blooming Tree Press and a poem appearing in the December 2007 issue of Highlights for Children Magazine. I’ve done presentations about poetry for school children and professional children’s writers. Last year, I was a judge for the Cybils poetry category.
