Julie Danielson, a.k.a. Jules, here. I am co-blogger at Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast, otherwise known as its abbreviation, "7-Imp," in the kidlitosphere. Eisha and I review books for all ages at 7-Imp, but we are very heavy on children’s lit, and I tend to focus most heavily on posts about picture books (and mostly fiction ones at that).

My training and experience in the workforce — before taking a break from children’s librarianship to raise two young girls — is in the realm of Sign Language Interpreting (Bachelor’s) and Information Science (Master’s), and most recently I was Librarian at The Tennessee School for the Deaf in Knoxville. My family and I currently make our home in Middle Tennessee, near Nashville. Blogging about children’s literature is what I do now to keep up with the field while temporarily away from it.

That’s my story, and I’m stickin’ to it. Looking forward to The Cybils ’07!
