Since it's the fall season--and, Happy Halloween, by the way!--it seemed appropriate to post a review of a book about leaves. Earlier in the year, Jennifer reviewed NFPB nominee A Leaf Can Be... by Laura Purdie Salas (herself a Cybils veteran judge, who blogs at writing the world for kids) and illustrated by Violeta Dabija. Many people keep a blog to reach their audience and regular viewers better, apart from attracting new visitors through search engine traffic. The content posted regularly on the blog improves its ranking and serves to keep viewers up to date with the latest news. I really liked the review of A Leaf Can Be... It is not joke writing a book intended for children, as the author, who is generally an adult, must think in terms of what children like to read, and this requires dedication and effort.
