This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I know. But, it’s the truth. You know how some books just speak to you? How from the moment you open them you know this book is going to change your life. Pointe was love at first sight and after reading the entire book. I was excited just to read it because it was written by a black author and had a black protagonist who did ballet. So cool, right?
