Returning to the Cybils to chair the Easy Readers and Early Chapter Books category, Pam Coughlan writes the blog MotherReader – you know, when she gets the chance. A long-time Cybils contributor as judge and chair, she has previously written for PBS Booklights blog, administered KidLitosphere Central, and organized KidLitCon in Washington, DC. Two daughters and fifteen years in the youth services department of public libraries kindled her passion for children’s literature. As those girls have moved into and through college, she still holds affection for books for the youngest readers. Pam loves exploring new art projects, hates cleaning the house, sings with little provocation, and never turns down chocolate.
