Come this time in October, all the nominations for the the 2023 CYBILS Awards will be in. With our publication cut-off of 10/15, there are always great books that don’t get their nod. As you saw in our previous post, there are lots of books published at the end of 2022 that shouldn’t be forgotten when CYBILS time rolls around this year.
So we have a request: keep in mind these books when you are nominating. Want to make sure that it is a CYBILS-worthy title? You’ve got all summer to read them. We’d love to include everything published at the end of 2022, but that’s not feasible. The books below represent a random selection of middle-grade and young adult books that missed last year’s awards because they were published after the deadline.
