Cybils Idea Boards

The Cybils Awards Idea Boards are a fun way to recommend books you think are Cybils Awards-worthy. We chose Padlet because it is easy to use and is visually appealing. Our short videos introduce you to the Cybils Idea Boards and demonstrate step-by-step instruction in how to use them.

WHY USE OUR PADLETS?

Adding your recommendations is a great way to introduce and encourage readers to consider recently-published books they may not know about.

It's also a great place for you to go if you're looking for books - for you or your kids! - in a favorite genre.

3 KEY POINTS

  1. You cannot post anonymously. You will need a free Padlet.comaccount.
  2. Eligibility rules still apply. Books must be published between 10/16 of last year to 10/15 of this year.
  3. These are recommendations, not nominations. That is a separate process that begins in October.

Last but not least, we ask that you add only books that you have personally read and believe meet Cybils Awards criteria. We invite you to include a review of the book when you add a recommendation to the Idea Board. Note: reviews linking to purchase points, bookseller websites, or professional journals (e.g., Kirkus, BookRiot) will be removed.
